Why not join the rest of us?

When I recommend to my friends that they purchase real estate in Antigua in order to have a home overseas, many people look at me like I’m from another planet — but in reality, there are millions of United States citizens who are currently living outside of the country. The simple fact is that many US citizens find it much nicer to live outside of the continental US, so they have chosen either to relocate entirely, or else have established a secondary residence in a foreign country. It is perfectly legal for a US citizen to own real estate in many overseas locations — so why don’t you do a bit of research and join the rest of us?

How My Neighbor Was Helped

My next-door neighbor is not only a good friend but also owns and operates our local movie theater. For some number of weeks attendance has been down — and they are quite concerned. I suggested to them that they try and book one of those old-fashioned 3-D movies. They would, of course, need to purchase a good supply of these free 3D glasses so that people could watch the movie — in addition they had a special serial number printed on each one of the glasses — and then they held a random drawing and the winner was the one who had the matching serial number. This contest win over great and really encouraged everyone to come out and patronize their movie theater — I think that they’re planning on holding this contest at least once or twice a year.

Sell Your Home And Rent It Back- Your Best Way To Cope With A Broken House Chain

Experts in the real estate industry all agree that it is the seller who is most often on the receiving end of problems when the house buying chain breaks. That is why the transaction is most vital from the seller’s perspective. Chain breaking can cause a lot of complications, delays, stress and even the failure of a deal. Ultimately, that is a bigger problem for the seller.

If you are unfortunate enough to have a broken house chain, there are basically three ways to cope with that: 1. Give up. Stay home and do not sell. Forget all the time, effort and money you spent seeking out your dream house. 2. This one is dangerous, but you could if you wanted – take out a bridging loan. Pin all your hopes on the chain being mended soon, so you move to your new house while still paying the mortgage on your old house too. 3. Accept all the delays from your buyer; be tolerant and wait for a seller to come your way and complete, turning all deals down on a new home while that happens.

However, if you do not like any of those options, fortunately you can consider this third way: Sell your home and rent it back to the rent back company. The rent back company will buy your property from you quickly and without fret, leaving you free to move on to your new place. That is way to get real peace of mind when your house-buying chain breaks.

Who wants to suffer the disappointment of having a house sale fall through, only to have to start all over again with surveyors, mortgage lenders and solicitors? Who wants to risk it happening all over again with the next house? If you sell to the rent back company, you do not need to worry about that. You can get a guaranteed quick house sale and get on with your life, wherever you choose to move to. Within a few short weeks you can secure a good price for your property and that puts you a whole lot closer to the home of your dreams.

Efficiency…Fuel, that is

With rising gas prices, fuel efficient cars are quickly becoming more popular.  Think about how much it costs you nowadays to fill your vehicle up.  I’ll tell you how much it costs me: $60!  Now, throw into the mix how often you drive, where you drive to, how long it takes you to get to work, how much city versus highway driving you do (not to mention unexpected trips to the beach and whatnot) and suddenly you’re looking at filling up your vehicle more often than you’d expect.  For someone like me, who has an SUV (which is notorious for sucking up gas), sometimes I am forced to fill up twice in one week.  Trust me, it adds up!  It’s no wonder that people are trying to search for the right vehicle to suit their needs.  There are plenty of hybrid cars around, but you have to stay informed because they’re not always cheap.  They would probably save you a ton of money in the long run though.

Wisconsin, the perfect place for a family vacation.

I love my Wisconsin family vacations in the fall. The mornings can be cold and rainy but by the afternoon you can be tubing on the lake in the afternoon. Usually it is cool in the morning, not always raining and it warms quickly. The afternoons of bright sunlight are enough to lift anyone’s spirit. In the evenings it remains warm till after the sunset, just about the right time to build a campfire. A nice warm campfire, a six pack of beer, and a good friend are all it takes to make a great evening. The bugs are gone by that time so they aren’t really a concern.
