Second Hand Pirate Specials

Our local second hand store has a policy where they tag their merchandise with different color tags. Each day there is a random color drawn and all the items with that color tag are one-half price. I did not know this policy when I came across some merchandise the other day. My neighbor’s son is crazy about pirates and the second hand store had a whole section of pirate items, including pirate flags and imitation coins. I thought I’d give him a few things and when I got to the front check stand I was told that everything I picked qualified for the one-half price special. That was so much fun for me and what a treat to put a smile on my neighbor’s face for very little cost.

Identification purposes

When you get the kind of bag you want for carrying around all your stuff you may want to find some monogrammed tote bags for keeping your identification on it. No one will steal a bag with your name on it. Monogrammed bags contain a certain class all on its own. I Like the way a monogrammed bag looks like a designer name even though the bag may be the monogram on it brings out a certain style that makes people stop and take notice. Even if its just a monogrammed tote bag it still looks pretty cool with the letter on it.

Electronic Taps

The most advanced taps are now infra-red electronic models that no longer even need someone to turn a handle to produce hot and cold running water. Also known as “no-touch” activation taps they have become common place in many public places, such as hospitals and restaurants, where fears of infection from handles worries many people.  Infra-red electronic taps though are now increasingly popular in the home where stylish taps is matched against water conservation ideal. The electronic taps work by passing a hand or something else in front of the infra-red sensor so activating the water flow. They are though far more expensive than the traditional single and mixer taps.

What she is playing with?

I bought the most expensive teether rings, the best looking rattle and spend a fortune on some of the most expensive baby care products around and do you know what is my little girl favorite toy? It is a normal, everyday using small towel that we placed on her neck to prevent her from getting dirty.Yes, don’t you find that amazing? So many toys and play things and she choose an ordinary towel to be her favorite play thing. This maybe brings us to one point, price and brands does not matters to a small child, they play what they like…

My grandma knows how to read guitar tabs

I just wanted to tell everyone how wicked my grandma is. She’s not really an old lady, she’s only in her sixties and she plays the guitar. I have been trying to learn from her when I go visit. Last time I went over I told her that my friend knows how to read guitar tabs. I guess she thought that was interesting so she went on the computer (she has one – I told you she is a cool lady) and learned how to read them too. I’m going to ask her to teach me how to do it too.
