When I first started learning to play the guitar, one of the best ways to learn was simply listening to recordings and playing along with the guitar parts.
Although this playing ‘by ear’ method works and will always work, there are many other ways and means to get your chops down so to speak.
One of my first guitar instructors, for example, would record various chord progressions we could then use to learn certain scales and solos over.
He had one tape in particular which was really helpful. His 50 blues guitar backing tracks helped me learn some of the coolest blues solos I’ve ever learned or will learn.

My wife and I are planning a trip to New Zealand next spring and we both look forward to it very much. One thing that we started to talk about with one another is the fact that we are both very badly overweight and needed to do something about it. We wanted to feel healthier and younger while on our trip. We decided together to look at a quick weight loss diet and pursue it one hundred percent. We decided that we are going to start our diet on January fifth and keep at it until we lose forty pounds each.

After the waters of this current economic recession recedes, many people will breath a sigh of relief to get out of debt.
