I was watching a documentary recently on the history of tattoos and was absolutely fascinated on how popular they have become over the years. The history of the tattoo is so amazing and especially how the tattoo has made such a vital impact on a way of people expressing their art through their body. A particularly interesting place for such art is the lower back tattoo. The documentary did not go into specifics on why this area is most popular but it did show a lot of amazing art work that the owner of said pieces can only see backwards.
