Understanding My Love

Everyone in my life knows that I am a gay woman, and they have all become very loving toward me about it. At first, people were weird about it and could not understand why I would feel the way that I do about love. It has been a while since everyone found out, and things have just gotten better. I tried to introduce some of my great friends to the author Shamim Sarif and her books. I am hoping that they will be inspired by the love stories, and be able to understand me a little better than they could before.
