Gas Saving Tip – no drive thru

October 1st, 2008

Getting better gas milage can be a lifestyle change.  This tip involves you avoiding going thru the drive thru when you are order out.  That sounds simple but yet it can be an inconvenience when you have kids in the car.  When you are sitting with your car idling then you are waisting gas.  If you don’t want to skip the drive thru then another little think that you can do is to turn off the engine while you are waiting.  Another way to cut fuel costs from idling is to turn your car off when you are stuck in heavy traffic.  Believe it or not, it is better to turn your car off instead of letting it idle.
