When to Use Your Car’s New Train Horn

April 23rd, 2009

There are rules and regulations about the times of day when real trains can and should sound their horns. That said, you know for sure that there are going to be rules about train horns for cars. In most areas, trains can generally only sound their horns between the hours of 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. In some places, the horns can be used as late as 11:30 p.m. If you’re a responsible citizen who is getting a train horn for his car primarily in case of an emergency or urgency, then you will probably have no problem making sure you find out the laws concerning this practice. The rules may or may not be the same as they are for horns on real trains.
