Called Different Names
May 23rd, 2008
As with many professions, being a nurse is different every single day. There are no two days that are the same because you are helping different people with different problems on a daily basis. LPN jobs are certainly part of that description. Being a licensed practical nurse takes extreme patience because when people are sick, they are certainly not in the most cooperative state. LPN’s are called different names depending on the region you are in. They are called licensed vocational nurses in California and Texas, and they are registered practical nurses or RPNs in Ontario. No matter what you call them, nurses are the reason doctor’s offices run as smoothly as they do.
