Equity Release Providers- what exactly do they do?

Equity release is a term commonly used to cover the release of capital in some shape so that older home owners can use their properties to generate income or lump sums whilst continuing to live there. Equity release is very complex and there are many different plans on offer from equity release providers. Mortgages and roll up equity-release is a scheme where you release equity through borrowing from a mortgage lender. These are property equity release and just another way to describe them that’s all. Don’t be confused by the many terms, they are all facets of equity release.
