How is an honest guy supposed to stop foreclosure?

For someone who works hard and plays by the rules, there should be some special dispensation when you run into financial difficulty and fall behind in your mortgage payments. I’m not one of the use high rolling finance types who stole billions of dollars and now basically is going to be punished by being under house arrest in their million-dollar penthouse. I’m just an honest hard working guy needs to know how to stop foreclosure, and I’m even willing to go ahead and bend the rules at this point because I’m so sick of watching the government stick it to the little guy.
