How to choose small business accounting software – Part 8

April 27th, 2009

In a similar way to which a business owner would lay down solid but flexible foundations for their business it’s not uncommon for large enterprises to talk about, pursue and implement a corporate/enterprise information technology architecture. The objective being to standardise on the foundation elements around which future systems that fit the future requirements of the business can be developed. small business accounting software is rarely sold as part of a grand architecture to which new elements can be easily added. In summary the startup and small business community is grossly underserved with free and low cost package software that is “popularised by vendors and sold in volume.  The marketing strategies behind this have a simple objective grab as many customers attention and sell them stuff and circumvent the considered purchase behavoiurs  that dominate  the corporate market .
