Las Vegas Economy

With a population exceeding two million denizens, Las Vegas has a large and growing economy. There are huge sectors within the Las Vegas economy. Many technology companies have been born here, and many have relocated or are currently relocating. These include Begelow Aerospace, Commpartners, Datanamics, Switch Communications, and more. Las Vegas has had a higher concentration of tech companies than many cities. Other drivers of the Las Vegas job listings (the economy) has been tourism and gaming and conventions. These feed the retail and dining industries as well. The city is the world headquarters for two of the world’s largest Fortune 500 companies.
