Lexington Law Review – Are credit repair lawyers worth it?

Most of us think credit repair is a scam or illegal. Heck some of us even think credit repair lawyers and other professionals are just out for a money grab, charging for something we can do ourselves. To a certain extent those people are right. We can handle our own credit repair, and it wasn’t until I did a Lexington Law review that I realized just how a credit repair law firm can actually help us succeed.

The number one thing a credit repair attorney will bring to the table that neither your or I can have is experience. Experience in what disputes work, and what don’t. Experience that says this dispute will make a difference on your credit score, but forget about this one.

If we are stubborn and opt to handle our own credit report disputes then we may take longer to improve our credit history, or worse never actually make any progress.
