First, let’s cover a topic that a lot of authors and writers seems to struggle with — namely, why should you make an effort to market your book online in the first place. The answer is quite simple. The Internet is where your readers are. Online book marketing gets complicated when you try to outsmart yourself and do all kinds of crazy things to get people to buy your book. Instead, focus on giving your visitors and potential fans some really great content and you’ll have them clamoring for more. That’s the secret to marketing a book online — build a fan base first.
