Rent Desk Space to Save Money

It is my own fault that I was drafted to head up our local charity’s fund-raising committee. I was already on the committee and had a business degree.  This made me the perfect, and only, candidate for the job.  I sat down with the charity’s president  and was appalled to realized we had almost no budget, no office, and no equipment.  We put our heads together and decided  to rent desk space.  With a few borrowed laptops and our own cell phones, my volunteers and I put together over fifty charity events in the next few years.  We raised thousands of dollars, and spent almost nothing.
