Start a Restaurant Business – The Paperwork

The most important thing to do when starting a restaurant is to have the all the the necessary paperwork completed. The different types of licenses and permits will change from state to state and city to city. You must be aware of the differences when you start a restaurant business.

Because you will be employing people, you need to apply for a Federal Employer Identification Number.

Some licenses that you may need are a business licenses, food licenses, liquor license, and a music license. Don’t forget permits for your sign, fire certificates, police permits, building permits, and zoning permits.

There may be other types of paperwork that you need to have completed, but you a little research and expert help can tell you what you need.
