The Business Card: A Professional First Impression

I am a big believer in first impressions and in business that’s especially important. When my son graduated from college and began his Web design business from home, he was doing fairly well. But I was convinced he would win more bids if he presented a more professional appearance to clients. He finally agreed to go online, where he found a site that offered pages of sample business cards and other products. After ordering cards and stationery that matched his business style, he went to meet his next prospective client. The customer, a huge corporation, was so impressed with my son’s talent and professional presentation that they gave him the job. They told him later that the elegant business cards had sealed the deal.
