The Value Of Forex Paper Trading
August 25th, 2008
Most novice traders will have the opportunity to operate a forex demo account for a while so that they can learn the ropes without actually risking their capital. In effect, they are simply trading on paper and, while this is entirely realistic, they are neither profiting from their trading nor suffering losses. Strange though it may seem, although this is seen as an extremely valuable training tool, once they graduate onto live trading the majority of traders will never use paper trading again. However, the really successful traders never forget the value of this tool and from time to time resort to paper trading when things are running against them or they want to test out a theory. We never stop learning so it makes sense that we should also continue to make good use of our training tools.
