Variable Annuities

September 12th, 2008

These days, many of my friends are asking how retirement is going to work for me. I explain often about my chosen method of saving, which was a variable annuity. How does a variable annuity work? It is pretty simple. The main difference is in the quarterly payout. It is not regulated, which means that my interest payment is directly based on how well the investments acted in the applicable quarter. Some quarters are great, and some are poor, and i can decide to stay with the firm based on the outcome of the investments. I really like this method of saving.
