What could I use my NLP Training for?

I am interested in the methods used in NLP, and learning more about them. I know that I can use whatever I learn in an NLP Training to help myself get over any habits I have that are affecting my communication skills with others, but I am wondering whether this training would teach me how to use these methods to help others as well, and whether there is any type of certification I could get to use to try to get people to come to me for help. Where can I find out more about how to use this training?
