Animal art is going to be my new passion. This means lots of expense, I hear you cry! I suppose it does, but I already spend enough on art as it is. Now all I’m doing is refocusing my efforts in a specialist area, rather than spreading the load in all directions. I get my animal art from online artists and specialist galleries. I particularly like going to the artists directly as they can then benefit that much more from my investment, without the gallery taking their commission.
My first delivery comes at the end of this week. The pieces are in shipping right now, and will be hanging on my walls by the weekend. Come over and take a look!

I’m learning a lot about online media these days. Videos, podcasts, that sort of thing. The boss wants something new and flashy for our Website, and his daughter Tina just got a iPod so now that’s all she talks about. He thinks it must be cool because a teenager is talking about it.
It is pretty interesting how the technology works, but a lot of these shows just sound like crap. I’m not sure that we can do much better. If nothing else, I am finding a few shows that I really like.
Of course, none of them were on the list we got from Tina.

Jerry and I are having a great time at the festival. The bands are fantastic, except for a few of the Alternative Music posers who have to be all edgy and weird. I’m liking the Hard Rock acts the best. I’ve never really listened to a lot of Indie Music, but I’m kind of getting into it now.
There was this one band with a chick singer who sounded just like Joan Jett. I got to talk to her on break and just about wet my pants. Jerry was just standing there trying to play it cool, but afterwards he said that he was freaking out too.

If your child has a love of dance and would like to give it a try, then you should know about the great classes being taught at Houston Dance and Fitness. My daughter just loved the classes where she learned some new moves in jazz and Latin dancing. Not only was she able to learn a variety of different dances, but she was able to participate in the yoga classes to feel more comfortable in her own skin. This was definitely a great way to gain some self confidence because she went from being shy to wanting to put on a dance routine for just about anyone that would watch.

Ethic weddings have traditions that date back thousands of years. Each tradition changes from culture to culture. They embody the values and beliefs of each culture. One of the traditions that caught my eye was the different types of wedding bands or rings each couple will exchange. In the Irish culture Celtic wedding rings, are not your typical wedding rings. Instead, many Irish couples will exchange traditional Irish Claddagh rings. The ring is used to emphasize good luck. In African weddings, the wedding ring symbolizes the joining of two different families. While, the Greeks wedding rings have the symbols of fertility featured on the side of their band.
