I enjoyed a nice long trip to France just a few months ago. I was there for over a month and I stayed with some friends who live there for some of the time. They are located in a lovely and largely undeveloped area of the country known as Languedoc France. There was a great deal of natural beauty and there were also some areas of more urban development. The air was clear and clean and the weather is really nice there all year long. I quite enjoyed this new place, I have only been the bigger city areas in the past.

With my brothers birthday being in January, this year we thought he might enjoy going to Cape Town for one of the biggest jazz festivals known. We bought him tickets and rented him a vehicle from car rental cape town to set him on his way. He attended the Standard Bank Jazzathon and thought it was terrific! We then thought we’d join him and attend one of the infamous Summer Sunset Concert series at Kirstenbosch Gardens, which was also a night to remember. The whole family had lots of fun and it was a birthday bash of a difference.

After tracing my family history back to Peru I have become fascinated with every aspect of Peru and all that it has to offer. Seeing that my roots traced back to Peru has ignited a sudden need and urgency in me to discover all I can about Peru. I strived to find that connection with my past and understand that part of my family. I have been day dreaming about taking a trip lately. Just to get away for a little bit to unwind and relax and recharge. So, I have been looking at tropical vacations online. I just started looking to see what different places were out there that I might like to go to. But then the more I looked, the more I really wanted to actually go to one. I have been looking at some beautiful places that have some good deals right now. The more that I think about it, the more that I think that now would be a great time to take a trip!

Today I received a phone call from my mother. We usually talk every single week, but we haven’t talked for the past 3 weeks or so. My mother and father have been away on vacation, so we had a lot to catch up on. My mom was telling me about their time in Florida, and Georgia. She was also telling me that my father has been quite busy with work lately. My mom and dad are planning another trip to a White Rock BC BB. I’m so excited for the both of them. I think their trip is going to be sweet.
