Adults need to supply some perspective

March 5th, 2008

For teenagers suffering with recurring, chronic bouts of acne, a good acne cream treatment should be prescribed for them to help clear up this facial condition. As a concerned parent, however, is there anything else that you can do to help them? Yes there is — you need to be there to support them and to remind them that their problem with acne is going to clear up in time, and is not a reflection on their true worth or significance as an individual. Teenagers have never lived through these types of problems, so they consequently lack a long term perspective — but as an adult you can help them to view their present condition in a new light.
