Be Aware Of Alcoholic Sign Posts

There are many signs of alcoholism and many posts or markers on the path to the disease. If you see any of the signs that exhibit themselves in someone as an alcoholic, then you need to investigate further and find out if the individual is indeed an alcoholic. If they are, get them into a program and under the care of a physician immediately.
If they refuse to go into a treatment program, you need to inform the authorities and then terminate your relationship with them. Sad to say but alcoholism is in very many cases a disease of choice. None of us like to think of someone as choosing to remain sick or dangerous to others, but sometimes this is the case.
