Home Remedies For Eczema

I keep getting eczema on my hands, and the cream that the doctor has given me doesn’t work. Every time I try to make an appointment with a dermatologist to get some medicine it goes away by the time I can get in to see the doctor. Can anyone tell me where I can find some home remedies for eczema that I can try? I know it will go away eventually on its own, but I would like to speed it on its way if at all possible because I hate to have my hands all ugly looking and itchy.
