I want to become a surgical technician!

I am interested in becoming a surgical technician, I just need a point in the right direction to which schools are the best.  I want to do surgical tech because I really do not want to become a full fledged doctor, but I really do love medicine and helping people.  I would love to be able to save a life.

So where can I go to school to be a certified surgical technician?  I looked online and there are so many different programs.  I want the best!  I do not want to just settle for a community college program, I really feel as though I should have a school or program that only focuses on training surgical techs.
