My dad’s underground job

May 14th, 2008

My father worked very hard all his life as a miner here in West Virginia. During most of that time, mining companies were either not aware or did not care about the possible damage that might be done to the hearing of those men, as they worked closely alongside of loud drilling equipment such as jackhammers and coal extracting machines. Fortunately, in time that many of these same men were able to get cash awards for their pain and suffering. This industrial deafness compensation is usually awarded as a legal verdict, which comes from the courts. If you think that you are suffering from industrial deafness, you should look into this right away.
