Quest for Better Ways to Treating Acne

October 29th, 2008

Trying to get rid of acne completely from the body is like purging all the worms in one’s digestive tracts.  Toxins mainly cause acne breakouts so it’s too much to prevent acne from ever occurring to your face.  You may opt to minimize the occurrences though.  You are going to need to help your body get rid of those ubiquitous toxins if you want to get rid of acne.   The best acne treatment involves a two-pronged mechanism. First, you need to make a few temporary lifestyle changes to reduce the intake of toxins. You’re not going to eliminate exposure, but you can give your body a fighting chance with some very short-term dietary changes. Second, you’re going to need to help the body actually purge itself of those built-up poisons. Luckily, that’s an easy and natural thing to do as well. But the job of determining the exact cause of acne had not been a walk in the park.  Many doctors have postulated different and varying ways in treating acne.  What they agree on however is the fact that, first, hormones are a big part in the appearance of acne.  In a person’s teenage years, male hormones called testosterone are often overproduced by the body, causing the body’s sebaceous glands to generate more oil.  Dead skin cells combine with the oil or sebum in the face clogging the pores and resulting to whiteheads or blackheads.
