The Ironman Infrared Sauna Pt 3
February 22nd, 2008
Infrared saunas come with many variations – near infrared, far infrared and medium range infrared. The far infrared variant provides infrared that penetrates the skin up to three inches. They can be used with the electrical outlets at home. They are also economical to use as they consume only less power. Infrared saunas keep the temperatures to around 110 °F, which means more time can be spent inside these than the traditional saunas where the temperatures typically soar to 140 °F. However, like any other treatment, it is better to consult your doctor before you start on an Ironman infrared sauna.
The Milestone two person sauna from Keys Backyard provides a very effective sauna treatment at home. It is made from natural fir wood and has an exterior light birch wood finish, so that it can merge into any décor. It has ceramic heaters that can be controlled from within and without. A stereo set and a reading light inside the enclosure provide a luxury touch to the sauna experience.
