The right attitude can help relieve lower back pain
June 3rd, 2009
Reviewing the comments of survey participants who had found a way out of years or even decades of chronic lower back pain relief, one thing above all stood out – their attitude.
It wasn’t simply a belief that they would get well, although that was important. It wasn’t anything mystical: They had simply made up their minds to put themselves in charge of ending their back pain.
They listened to the experts without awe and with the knowledge that they themselves ultimately knew more about their bodies than anyone else possibly could. Those who sought professional care did so for a limited rime and acted as partners in the treatment, not as helpless victims looking to be cured. And all made the resolution of back pain a high priority in their lives.
