Electronic Taps
May 28th, 2008
The most advanced taps are now infra-red electronic models that no longer even need someone to turn a handle to produce hot and cold running water. Also known as “no-touch” activation taps they have become common place in many public places, such as hospitals and restaurants, where fears of infection from handles worries many people. Infra-red electronic taps though are now increasingly popular in the home where stylish taps is matched against water conservation ideal. The electronic taps work by passing a hand or something else in front of the infra-red sensor so activating the water flow. They are though far more expensive than the traditional single and mixer taps.
