How to Make Recycled Paper

An educational activity you can do with your kids is to make recycled paper. It is actually quite simple to make recycled paper from old newspaper. Tear the newspaper into bits and soak them in some water overnight. If you have a blender, blend the mixture so that the separate pieces of paper can no longer be seen. I am actually reading kitchen blender reviews now so that I can buy one. Without a blender your paper won’t be as smooth. Drain the mixture using a strainer. Roll out the residue very thinly on a tray using a rolling pin, and dry under the hot sun. It’s as simple as ABC!
