I’m Remodeling my Basement and I’m Hiring a Contractor

I am hooked on those home renovation shows on all the cable networks.  Have you ever noticed there is like, I don’t know, ten different shows all about the same thing?  With like, a slight variation on the name?  Ha! I’m such a sucker, because I will watch any one of them, any time.  Which is probably why I’ve decided to take the leap and finally renovate my basement.  I’m no dummy though – I may be a sucker, but I’m not a dummy.  I’ve been researching remodeling contractors online and I will be hiring one before I start my ambitious project.  Even though I feel like an expert from watching the shows all the time, I know better!
