Iowa men produce Iowa women

My son was doing his report on American geography and asked me if I knew any Wisconsin facts. I told him I really didn’t and I really didn’t see why he should either. After all ours is an Iowan heritage, that is where we are from and that is what we are all about. His grandmother and her mother and her mother were all born and raised in this state. Unfortunately the male side of the equation is not as easy to follow as the men tend to die young. Also the single child families in my family tree tended to have girls and not boys.
