Solar Panel Tax Credit

My husband and I are in the process of building our dream home. It has been an exciting and slightly stressful time but it is all coming together. We just found out about the federal tax credit for solar panels for homes though and we started to look into that more. It makes sense to try to make our home “green.” It seems responsible and hopefully it will all work out. Especially with this credit – it makes sense both on a socially conscious level and on a personal financial level. If we can get a tax credit and lower our monthly electric bills, we’re in.
