Why do dogs like bones so much?
April 23rd, 2008
When we want to give our dog a treat the first thing we think of is dog bones. Why do you suppose dogs like them so much? I believe it has alot to do with the dogs teeth and working them out, keeping them strong and it can even serve as a way to brush them. Dogs have an inherent need to chew on things, they enjoy it like human beings enjoy sex. Giving a dog something to chew on is nice but a bone being the perfect consistency to not only chew on but brings flavor is like heaven on earth.
