Yes, it’s possible to stop foreclosure

For the majority of people, their home is their biggest investment, and the idea of losing it can make them ill.   However, foreclosure is happening in record numbers.  If you’re in the group of people who is behind on your mortgage payments, you don’t have to lose your home.  It is possible to stop foreclosure. Sure, it’s best to avoid missing mortgage payments, but sometimes extreme circumstances happen and you miss payments. The key is to talk to your lender.  Don’t ignore their calls, and don’t avoid their letters.  Be proactive and tell your lender your situation, and they’ll likely be very willing to help you keep your home.
