A seminary should further strategic learned inquiry in an scholarly environment dedicated to excellency in scholarship, a biblical worldview, spiritual reason, and interpersonal moral sense. It needs to produce a ministerial equilibrium between the intellectual, practical, and divine allegiance to Christ, His Word and His service.A theological educating center must prepare the qualities required for church leaders as defined in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1 and the staff should convey to pupils through model and teaching. Likewise central is the development of men and women to be independent learners who read and think. A seminary must endeavor to develop men and women who are both practical and adaptable, with the ability to transform classroom knowledge into people-related ministries.
Key to the Seminary commission is training character, focusing competency, and training for service. This is a strategic doctrine to the position that God has furnished his true written divine revelation in the Bible. A representative seminary will offer a curriculum designed to advance strategic scholarly research in an academician environment that is consecrated to excellency in scholarship, a biblical worldview, spiritual understanding, and social moral sense and all in the context of God’s goodwill.
