Alimony

If your spouse is requesting alimony there are a lot of questions to be answered. And the first one is what divorce strategies do I want to adopt in dealing with it. There can be tax advantages to paying alimony that you will want to consider. Also there is the ability of the person being sued to pay it in the first place. If after a ration look at the alimony issue you determine there is value for both parties you should go for it. If the request for alimony is more of an attempt to punish the other spouse, they your strategy will be different.
