How Long Do LPN Programs Last?

I need to get myself trained for some sort of profession so I can get something better than a dead end job like the one I have now. I am looking into becoming a nurse because it seems like hospitals are always looking for more nurses. I have never had a problem with blood and guts, so I should be able to handle it. Can anyone tell me how long LPN programs last? I am really not in the mood to do a four year BSN program right now, so this looks like it might be a good option for me.
