In the summer time the heat can be a terrible thing to a dog. Some ways how summer heat is dangerous to dogs is avoidable. Many people leave their poor dogs in their car but don’t realize this can kill them. When the temperature is eighty to one hundred degrees outside it can be over two hundred degrees inside the vehicle. This can give a dog heat stroke or a sudden heart attack. It can also affect his breathing. It is illegal in many states to leave your dog in the car in high temperatures. It’s considered inhumane and if your dog dies you can be arrested and charged with animal endangerment.
