I have missed a lot of work

I have not been able to go to work for about 2 weeks now, and I have not been able to figure out what is wrong with me. I went to the doctor, but he just said I have some kind of virus. I just don’t know how that could be possible for that amount of time. Well, I got a doctor note for a few days, but I need one for the rest of the time I have been off. It is hard to get doctors excuses just because you have to go back to the doctor every time you want a note.
