The Satisfying Hobby Of Collecting Stamps

I spent many happy hours as a child with my mother sorting stamps and putting them in her stamp album. As I grew older I had my own stamp album and put my treasured stamps in there.

I’m not sure if kids get anything like as much pleasure these days from playing computer games as I got from the simple hobby of collecting stamps but I doubt if they do. There is something so satisfying about any real hobby. You may enjoy collecting stamps just as I did or you might like collecting autographs, collecting and colating your family history for scrapbooking or any other hobby.

It is human nature to want to contruct something we can be proud of and I was very proud of the stamp album I made.
