Time Out- London Eye

February 22nd, 2008

Time Out has over 40 years of experience in providing up to date, insider information about the world’s most exciting cities and what to do in them. One of the top things to do in London at the moment is to go on the London Eye.

The London Eye is also known as the Millennium Wheel. It stands at 135 metres high on the Western end of the Jubilee Gardens on the Southbank of the River Thames. With up to a 40km panoramic view on a clear day, the London Eye offers its visitors stunning views of London and all its famous land marks. It is possible to visit the London Eye day or night; the difficult decision is choosing which time you want to go. Do you want to visit in the day when the landmarks are viable or after dark for a truly spectacular view of the London lights.
