Bad with Directions? Use Aerial city maps.
September 12th, 2008
I am awful with directions. I can never remember a route even if I’ve traveled it a number of times. I need landmarks instead of road signs because I nearly get into an accident while trying to read them as I drive. I almost always end up in a panic on a dead end street ten miles away from where I’m supposed to be. But since I’ve started reading aerial city maps of any city I’ll be in, I can learn before I even get there, how the city is set up. I can see the routes I have to take before I arrive. It has saved me so much stress and anxiety. I wish I had known of these sooner.
