Build and Configure a Wireless Network
May 19th, 2009
It’s easy to build and configure a wireless network at home and requires very little equipment. If you already have several computers on a network in your home, all you will need is a wireless access point. If your computers are not currently networked, then you will need a wireless router. This router will allow you to utilize wireless signals that will connect with each other. You can also purchase range extenders or repeaters to increase your wireless router’s transmitting range if necessary. It doesn’t take a vast amount of computer knowledge to install a wireless network and it is something that will improve immensely your networking capacity.
