Is Black & Decker a good company?

I am in the market for a new air compressor, and I am trying to figure out which one to buy. I see that Black and Decker makes air compressors, is this a good company for air compressors? I am considering getting a Black and Decker air compressor just because it is a name I recognize. Can anyone tell me more about these? Do they work well? I am interested in finding out which company makes the best air compressors, and which company makes the most affordable air compressors, to try to make some type of decision. I need to make up my mind soon.
