Montana’s Wind Farms

December 15th, 2008

If you have ever been to Montana, you know that they are home to some of the biggest wind farms in the world.  The broad plains, and huge pastures make wind plenty, and many industries are fighting to try and capture this natural resource.  The key to wind farms is in the turbine system, which turns the wind into power.  Most experts say that once the infrastructure is setup a little more firmly, wind has the potential to be one of the best gas saving products of our generation.  It will be interesting to see how the need for capital slows the progress of this exciting new industry.
