Satellite TV Cheaper Then Cable

I did a little comparison shopping last weekend because my cable bill had just hit my mailbox, and I was experiencing a bit of sticker shock.   My promotional period had run out on my cable TV deal, so the bill jumped about $30.  I did a little satellite TV shopping, and found they too offer promotional deals for the first year of service.  But does the price increase after that?  Well, it does, but it was still nowhere near what my cable TV company is charging right now.  I went ahead and set up an appointment to get satellite TV installed, as every dollar helps these days.
