System 32 Windows Folder Error
January 24th, 2008
Windows is more fun than a barrel of monkeys sometimes. It just loves to throw error messages out at unsuspecting users, causing much hair-pulling and headaches in the process. Fortunately there are easy ways to get rid of these errors most of the time.
If you’re having problems where the System32 folder opens during Windows start or bootup functions, then it is most likely caused by errors in the Windows registry. The error occurs in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run folder of the registry.
If that looks like Greek to you, don’t worry. The registry is very complicated for people who don’t know exactly what they’re doing, and it’s advisable to get a registry cleaner to fix the problem.
